AAA NATIONAL FLEECE CHALLENGE 2020

Our boy, Yaringa Royal Highness who is co-owned with MalakaiAshbourne and represents the outstanding breeding of Yaringa, was awarded CHAMPION BLACK HUACAYA FLEECE, amongst some very impressive competition.

OUR NEW FLOAT!
Today we picked up our new float and we can only say it's awesome and we love it!
Based on Imperial Floats' Classic 3 horse angle load and fitted to our specifications, which include:
- adjustable and removable gates which means we can fit our bays to suit the alpacas we're planning to carry
- overhead storage at the front and full length on one side
- front access door
- lockable exterior storage over both wheel arches
- interior lighting
Ours is Imperial Floats' first dedicated alpaca float, and they're so excited they are adding an alpaca variation to their extensive range. Imperial have agents right across Australia, check them out at http://imperialfloats.com.au.
Imperial are now giving our little float a makeover, including:
- matching paint work
- new checkerplate trims
- gas strut lifts on the tail gate
- new windows
- checkerplate infill on the draw bar

BREEDERS CHOICE ALPACA AUCTION 2020
WHAT A DAY!
Manolo successfully sold and is going to a local stud where we are sure he will be the sire of many stunning cria. Congratulations to the successful bidders on a great purchase.

WE BOUGHT MALAKAI ASHBOURNE SINTILATION ET!
Sintilation has been the subject of so many discussions with the Malakai and Ashbourne studs and we're still pinching ourselves that we were the successful bidders for this stunning girl. Our purchase of Sintilation continues the wonderful relationship we enjoy with these two leading alpaca studs.
Sintilation brings together the elite genetics of EP Cambridge Sin City, a National Supreme Champion and the only female to be awarded the National Championship in every age class, and the super-sire Malakai Fire Chief, whose progeny boast 16 supreme championships, 64 championships and the 2019 National sires progeny championship.

CANBERRA ROYAL 2020
Our only show for 2020 saw us take our largest show team into Canberra. Fortunately this is our local show, which meant that we were able to take twelve alpacas in two trips in the float. Geoff spent the weekend on the microphone, while Sophie and I managed the alpacas with a lot of help from other exhibitors. Our little Dyablo took an excursion to the show so he could be bottle fed throughout the weekend, and he quickly became the centre of attention and lapped it all up.

THE NATIONALS 2019
Our Banksia Park babies made the long trek across the Nullabor in the amazing care of Greg and Judy from Futura and went straight to their first show - the Nationals 2020. Here they joined our show team and we had our best national show ever!
